Mayor Johnson Reappointed to Governor's Workforce Council

SUFFOLK,VIRGINIA(October 27, 2011) - The City of Suffolk is proud to announce that Mayor Linda T. Johnson has recently been reappointed to a second four-year term on the Virginia Workforce Council by Governor Robert McDonnell.

The Virginia Workforce Council (VWC) is a business-led board that acts as principal advisor to the Governor and provides strategic leadership to the State regarding the workforce development system and its efforts to create a strong workforce aligned with employer needs.
